so instead one 1 grandpa statue now you have to make room for all the new ones or remake them into filament

This is such a beautiful hommage to your grandfather. If more people had caring and loving relatives I think the world would be a happier place.

every photogrammetry software I've seen requires you to move the camera not the object. Wierd.

“Measure twice, fit once” has gotten the better of me 3 times now on a 3D printing project. I’m making a mount for my Pi4B to sit on top of a RAID enclosure and the measurements are finicky as the fit needs to be tight but not too tight or loose. Fortunately I have a lot of filament in stock.

The dipping in coffee is a depression era thing. My grandfather who died before I was born taught this to my mom who taught it to me. Egg yolk, coffee, sauce, gravy etc. The 'dunkin' is meant to soften stale bread.

Jeff, I waited a couple of days to click on this video and wish I hadn't. What an awesome and engaging video on 3D printing, photogrammetry and family. You are a wonderful story teller, digressions and all. Keep making your awesome content.

Anyone know of an organization where we could nominate this video for an award?

This is your best video up till now, buddy. The one with less spoken technical details (with links to cope with it), but it has tech as it should be at least most of the time: a great tool for making life better. Great job!
