So basically it’s like the Laws that humans have, they are very specific

She speaks as if ai can't change in the future and become out of our control. Yes right now it will do exactly as we say but one day it will become smarter than us

I thought that AI promoting conspiracy theories was just a conspiracy theory. It's the ZuckerBastard theory. Not funny

It's Hard to design AI, because were to stupid to ask proper questions and acculty think about what were asking it to do specifically. LOL idiots.

She is so wrong it’s just scary that she made it on ted. She is using very basic AI if she is asking it how to come up with new ice creams. If she thinks that is even close to the AI we actually have today she is just dumb or lying. Remember she used middle school kids.

There was a project I ran into a while back where researchers were attempting to teach an AI in the same manner as they would teach a child. The way they do this is by interacting with an AI through a small robot vessel, which gives the appearance of a child to the AI. This is supposed to help the researchers treat the AI like a child, and also help to reduce the negative feedback it may encounter when it does something wrong.

I think this is a pretty intuitive idea, as it teaches the AI by building its knowledge in small increments in the same way a person is expected to learn. This should help it to understand more nuanced ideas and human principles that would not be as apparent to a traditionally trained AI.

Of course, this requires a lengthy amount of time to complete, even if it isn't one-to-one with a child's developmental timeline. It may also learn human responses to certain problems, such as anger, frustration, sadness, or even laziness. Still, what better way to study AI than to teach it to simulate human responses?

What we call AI today is basically just a bunch of optimization routines. There's no actual understanding of what is going on. In the good old days, they where trying to use actual logics and reasoning in AI systems but that didn't really work. I think we have to combine the two, at the very least, if we want to get something that is really helpful and not frustrating to use. It's probably gonna be even more complex than that.

Seems that Klaus Schwab is very optimistic about AI, killing so many through the big pharma to avoid the unemployment from AI.

Finally, a realistic assessment of what we need to worry about with AI, rather than some future speculation of what they'll be able to do based entirely on fear and poor reasoning.

its nice that they let the women give a go at speaking up there about things like this ! at least she is trying . many men wont even allow their wife to do this kind of work !! good for the husband
for letting her do something risky !!

I respectfully disagree , I believe that a robot that can create its own code is intelligent , it’s in its infancy when it becomes more grown Ull bee reviewing ur own thoughts on ai ,

And this is why Elon keeps warning us about AI. That some of the people working on it get so into their work they don't understand what they're actually doing and are not aware of future problems they may be causing.

Best is tot just make ai use only for industrial Production benefits use allieer and make ai with factors That involve any possible Human thinking or Emotion or behavings illegal ASAP!!! All tech Companys today are infact creating ai That is making the entire world do things, showing us things, modify content etc to make People do things for either profit or worse, like manipulate and control what People think and Should believe….!!!

Honestly, I don't think these kinds of scenarios will be a problem for very long.. Eventually AI's ability to understand human language and the contextual intent of what we ask it, will reach a level where such misunderstandings aren't likely.. Seeing examples of what GPT-3 can do, really seems to suggest we'll get there, and maybe sooner than some people think.
